Morning ViPR workout with Jamie Atlas at Bonza Bodies on the News!

Got to do a FUN morning workout with some of my newer Denver fitness friends Meg Majerus and Fit5250′s Levi Scullion!  Jamie Atlas hosted a ViPR workout at his studio, Bonza Bodies downtown Denver.  He said there was gonna be a camera there… so we dressed up!  he he!  Okay, well, maybe only Meg and I care about that stuff!  But you KNOW I had my PINK shoes on for this great workout!

Downtown Denver Lunchtime ViPR workouts!

Earlier this year, I was introduced to another FUN new workout!  My trainer and now good friend Jamie Atlas originally introduced me to the weighted ViPR logs and the variety of exercises that you can do with them at his studio called Bonza Bodies located downtown Denver.  Jamie is a Master Trainer for ViPR and uses them regularly in his studio through-out classes.

Earlier in the summer, Jamie partnered with PTontheNet Master Trainer Nate Fryer to hold an outdoor ViPR workout at one of our great downtown Denver parks and ever since then I’ve been HOOKED!

Is the ViPR workout THAT unique?  REALLY?  Actually… it IS!  However… I’ll admit, I’m pretty easy when it comes to getting me to join in a GROUP workout!  If it’s effective and FUN and even MORE important… SOCIAL?  Then I’m IN!    And PTontheNet has hit ALL of these points this summer!

Every 2-3 weeks through-out the summer they have held a FREE ViPR workout at Confluence Park downtown Denver.  So each time they have held an event, my girl Sara and I dash out of the office and head down to the park!  What’s the draw?  GORGEOUS Colorado sunny days, an AWESOME sweaty workout and GREAT peeps!  We LOVE to get outside at lunchtime and get in a great workout with other fun people!  When we first started going, we didn’t know anyone there, but now each time we go, we get to know a few more new people and get to re-connect with other Denver peeps that also love fitness fun!

Red Rocks ViPR Workout with Jamie Atlas & Nate Fryer 07-06-11

2 of my favorite ViPR Master Trainers: Jamie Atlas and Nate Fryer ran a killer workout with the ViPR logs up at Red Rocks and you KNOW that my girl Sara and I could NOT miss out!   This video isn’t what I shot… but I’m pretty sure it’s a lot of Jamie’s footage with the rest of the PTontheNet crew!  We had a fantastic turn-out on a BEAUTIFUL Colorado Saturday sunny morning!

We threw down a TURBO for a CAUSE in support of a non-profit organization called NANA (Naked and Not Ashamed) that provides counseling and support for victims and their families. They have phenominal classes and workshops, counseling and even dramatic presentations, telling the true stories of people that w…ere once victims and are now VICTORIOUS!

RED ROCKS STAIRS WORKOUT with JD and CREW in December

I scheduled an impromptu workout for my Turbo FIRE Challenge crew!  Sent out a music playlist for everyone to download to their mp3 player and “choreographed” a workout for each set of stairs that went with each song.  

It’s just SO much more fun to workout with your friends than by your lonesome!  It doesn’t have to be a HUGE group… just more than one!  So grab a buddy and get out and do somethin’ fun!

We are SO FIRED UP for this Challenge!   Just in time for the holidays!

After a kickin' HIIT 15 workout! We're FIRED up!

Here’s the dealio!  If you are IN, but haven’t bought your TURBO FIRE from one of us yet, you can go to www.jdkix.com to get it and we’ll add you to the Challenge email list and facebook group.  We start this 90-Day Challenge on MONDAY of NEXT week, November 7th! 

KEY POINTS FOR THIS TURBO FIRE HOLIDAY CHALLENGE: 

  • Order your Turbo FIRE ASAP from my website www.jdkix.com or from YOUR COACH’S website
  • FIRST DAY of CHALLENGE:  Sunday, November 7th
  • Check in on our private facebook group page – introduce yourself
  • Every SUNDAY you check in with your Coach – beginning on Sunday, Nov. 7th!
  • LAST DAY of CHALLENGE:  Sunday, January 30th
  • Every 30 Days – You will take your measurements AND your PHOTOS
  • Every Sunday after that you will check in with your Coach on your weight and also how you are FIRED UP!
  • You may choose to do this additionally on the facebook group page to the whole crew too!
  • You will keep track on your Fire Guide when you complete your workouts and report on Sunday too
  • We will also have 3 weekend workouts scheduled where we all get together as a huge team (if you are local ) and workout. These are not mandatory but will be super FUN!!
  • Every 30 days you will re-measure and take a new picture….trust me you will be happy you did!!
  • Don’t forget!  If you’re LOCAL – Balanced Life Systems in Denver has offered each one of our Challengers a FREE month of classes!  WHOA!  That was such a cool surprise to me!  I’d love for you to come to my Turbo Kick class there on Monday nights at 5:30pm this month!  They are a super fly crew and I would LOVE for them to see your Turbo energy!!!

 As your Coaching team, we are still working out the additional workouts – but if you have ideas or suggestions – feel free to share them with me and we’ll see how we can possibly incorporate them.

 I’m SO FIRED UP!!!  We’re gonna ROCK this thang!!!
